Moonsun.® is a table lamp the body of which is molded entirely in 3D using a PLA filament. The choice of 3D printing in PLA is mainly done for purpoes of environmental sustainability but it’s possible to make the lamp in different materials, for example using epoxy resin, a material that guarantees a comparable level of definition to plastic.
The forms of Moonsun.® are born thinking of Japan and its hidden world, its wooden houses from which soft lights filter through, to its rigor and to the charm of its discretion that blends with a romantic malice. Moonsun.® recalls tatami, panels of rice paper and summer sunsets in the sea of the rising sun.
